AK Series Generator Ganging
Specification Sheet
Amerec steam generators may be ganged together to supply steam to rooms larger than what a single 14kW unit can accommodate. When ganging generators, only one has a control and temperature sensor connected. Secondary units mimic the primary unit, making the system operation as simple as controlling a single generator.
- Each steamer requires at least one ComfortFlo steam head (we recommend at least 2 heads for 14kW units) and more steam heads per unit may be desirable to reduce steam noise.
- Each steamer will need its own automatic drain valve kit
- Each steamer will need its own drip pan
Note: You may gang an AK steamer only with other AKs.
Required Part:
- Item #5304-031 AX Ganging cable.
One required for each secondary steamer.
